I think he is amazed at just how awesome he is!

He got rockstar cool at pushin up in January when he was about four months old. Then he started thinking about rolling…

I will leave the rolling for another post, and since he is almost six months and I just got this blog up and running…

um, things will be a bit out of order

but I have plenty of pics of his handsome, gorgeous, adorable face to share! (sorry that’s the mom in me talking)

if only a job well done was always this easy

(don’t tell them I said that )

my little builder man, he made a raft.

and he made plans. plans for his raft to sail the seas – or at least a very large lake (after it was tested in a small pond of course)

i convinced him to first test it in our flooded yard. that’s where a six year old came face to face with the stark divide between dreams and reality – in a puddle.

the raft was not sea worthy and i was afraid he would loose faith. but no, it was enough that he built it, some day he would make a better one…

no matter the outcome, he must build rafts – he is a builder man

like him i must create, reinvent, photograph, make art, mumble, meander and ponder – oh and dream beyond the puddles…

always dream – who knows where it may take you, one day

  • Sue - Looks like he has the right idea. Pretty sure Einstien started out the same way.

iheartfaces is looking for the favorite faces of 2010 this week. I love all my boys but this little guy has to be my favorite face of 2010. We waited and hoped and prayed for him for so long… and against all odds he is here! He is sweetly healing our hearts and looking at his eyes is downright miraculous!

You can read about Jeremiah's story hereherehere, here, and here and go be inspired by all the beautiful faces over at iheartfaces

Nativity w
We had a wonderful time celebrating Jesus' birthday, a very Merry Christmas!

It was our first time home alone as a family and we followed the kids lead… went to bed late on Christmas Eve, woke up early the next morning, tore through all the presents, ate too many cookies, stayed in our pj's all day!

We were ridiculously silly and snuggly… and so very very grateful for all the good gifts God has given this year, made all the sweeter by the pain and fear we have journeyed through this year.
