I like how things look when they are new, innocent, not over thought or too perfected. These images are from my first two rolls of film, last summer during one day. I had shot film in high school and college but it had been years… until I picked up a little film camera and started playing again. I love learning and am always trying to improve, but I never want to lose the simple wonder of capturing a moment in time, thankful for however that image may come to me.

We like to stop by the gliderport round sunset. Watch people hurl themselves off a cliff over the Pacific ocean, windswept into the colors melting into night, carried out by passion and a few thin sheets towards mountains silhouetted. All we have to do is stand there watching and we’re brought more alive. This is what we are meant for, to work and play in a world of magic.
