to see a meteor shower

the last one’s my favorite

50 ISO at dusk is tricky, but I’m learning and that’s all I had. Still love a lot of these no matter the blurriness. Baby man’s first camping trip was in the heat and splendor of Joshua Tree. We made new friends, lay on our backs in the middle of the night to see the meteors fall, played with NVGs, listened to the wild calls of children, watched them play and climb and adventure on, ate the best pizza, saw a wild dessert tortoise, had a water fight, survived a bout of toddler heatstroke and packed up fire drill style in the middle of the night to get him home to his very own bed. Good, good times.
